Good news from the Menalto-Gallery-Team: Gallery 2.0 Beta 2 [Codename Holy Hand Grenade] Released!

"This is the second installment in the Gallery 2 beta cycle. In the past 5 weeks we've made considerable improvements in G2 . As before, this is a technology release so that we're providing you can get an idea of how the product is maturing. It is stable and reliable, but does not yet have all the features that you will find in Gallery 1.x.

download v 2.0 Beta 2 Gallery at SourceForge-Site and play with it! Before you ask for help, please, please read the README -- we've made an effort to answer all of your questions there. Especially read the known issues section. Then head on over to the G 2-forums for support and interaction and let us know what you think!

The more feedback you give us now, the better the final version of G2 will be. Thanks for your continued support!"

BTW: a great dual-use module - celebrate this innovation.

We have just released our RSS/RDF/Atom newsreader module. You can try Feed On Feeds - Atom/RSS/RDF Feed Aggregator here [demo(registration requ.)]. This module is based on the popular systems like:

- FeedonFeeds [server side personal RSS (and Atom!) aggregator] (full description]
- magpierss [a SourceForge-project]: MagpieRSS provides an XML-based (expat) RSS parser in PHP.

FeedOnFeeds will let admins create a system-wide list of subscriptions, and will also let registered users create their own subscriptions. Any user, registered or un-registered can update any feed, but only the user who subscribed it can edit it or delete it. Subscriptions can be exported in .opml format, and imported by any other newsreader that supports this format....[..].. read more about it in the new article

download the Feed On Feeds - Atom/RSS/RDF Feed Aggregator [right here] and read more about it in the new article

btw; the module is a great Dual-Use-Thingy - running in PHPNuke as well as in NukeCommerce and osc2nuke. Let us celebrate this dual-use-innovation that integrates a global brain - and puts together the power of more than 100000 users: synergy at work!
