The buttons in the header are theme related, so you would need to edit the header section and upload your buttons to the theme image folder.

Looks like you added the flash code in theme.php inside the banners code. As I don't see any closing }

You need to add that code on it's own. For example look for:

You can create blocks in block admin and enter an rss feed url into the rss box, it's as simple as that pretty much.
