should i get the patched version or just go for the manual upgrade?

Attachment Mod 2.4.0 with phpbb 2.0.19: has anybody tried it?

i'm glad it worked.
my first host- ipowerweb - had this problem. I used 7.5 first, they i upgraded to 7.9, both distros had to be fixed.
Then i switched to bluehost, same problem with raven's 7.6.
...

what i meant to said is download 7.8 and use the file backend.php from there and ONLY that file. nothing else. give it a try, it worked for my site (we use a lot of ø)

there is no http auth in nuke sentinel's cpanel, so you are forced to choose one cgi auth or nohting. you choose cgi.

cgi auth works FINE if you just remove the "#" at that specific section of the file .htaccess...

i got the same error, but only when trying to login with a created username that did not click on the activation link in the registration email.

took me a few hours to solve it.

another problem:
forum permisssions - results in a weird page, lots of weird characters.
a page full of this:

i have a raven76distro in root
now I have a subdomain in root/1/
root is protected by htaccess from nuke, and the subdirectory root/1 as well.
i want root/1 OUT of .htaccess so i can build a few ht ...
