Ok... finally got it straight... i have decided to use the default theme, and the default forum theme... and users with IE6 still get the error. This, and the fact for some reason i cant i ...

I have also found another problem...

When in forum adminstration, you cannot use the navigation area as it comes up as an error.

I have switched all the defaults back onto the site. Just seems ...

although I have changed and updated the .zip file with the new changes, i am still getting the same results. Registered users can post a topic under normal and raid, but raid is still selected as def ...

in admin_forumauth.php I figured out what I did wrong here:

I changed it to ver. 5. Then edited the php.ini file
(go to vdeck > Scripting and Add-Ons > CGI and Scripted Language Support > PHP Script ...

I couldnt launch the installer.... I found some help though, cant remember where but someone had the same issues and they upgraded from php4 to php5. If I find the link I will post it.

I have posted the below to help him figure out what versions, etc. I also suggested that he reset Internet Explorer to its installed state... which will also help to ensure its not some random thing ...

is the only one to get the errors from what i have heard....

also want to add that I have given the website out to many ppl sofar, and noone except this one person seems to be having this issue. Sofar, 6 ppl have registered successfully to the site.

Uninstalled PHPNuke8.0 and installed Ravennuke 2.20.01.

Not sure if there is compatibility issues with theme, but it looks good... only problem is the language is all screwed up...
