Well, something has definitely changes. Are you able to check your administration Preferences? Make sure the site language is set.
Also, you do NOT want to run your site in a production environment with the $display_errors = TRUE; You are exposing your key details of your site when you do this and I have removed those details from yours above post.
Had you, by chance, changed any of the multi-lingual settings there? |

psychoses, I have to leave for work so I cannot help you right now. I would only be able to do what you are trying to do anyways, so not sure having the admin login will do me/you any good.
You need to figure out what changed. It is possible that you have been hacked? If you are running an unpatched PHP-Nuke 8.0 (possibly even a patched one), that is not out of the realm of possibility. |

If this is a new installation we'd recommend that you get Ravennuke 2.10.01 from the downloads page here. Most of us don't even have a copy of the PHPnuke mainfile.php that you are referring to. And I certainly don't know the patched status of that release but, unless I am mistaken, you would need to install Nuke Sentinel as a separate step and probably make some edits to the core files. That's a p.i.t.a. that is totally unnecessary with Ravennuke.
Other than that you could try re-FTP'ng your files. That should not cause any problems since you will just be replacing (and possibly correcting) the distribution. You might also want to look in your host's error and access logs to see if they tell you anything about the nature of the problem. Finally, the MYSQL table nuke_config contains a field for your default language. You might want to use PHPmyadmin to check the value that is in the field "language". Set it to english if it is not already and if that's your language. |

I always thought that PHP-Nuke above 7.6 came with the TinyMCE editor? So, I am not sure what this is. You may want to upload just that referenced directory of files again in case one of them got corrupted in the transfer. Also, make sure you are using a good FTP client. My personal favorite is FileZilla from http://sourceforge.net and it is FREE.
Three things to check:
1. Administration Control Panel --> Preferences - do you have http://stevethefreak.com in the Site URL: field? If not, you should.
2. Administration Control Panel --> Forums --> Configuration - you need to have just stevethefreak.com in the Domain Name field.
3. If you have NukeSentinel installed (and you SHOULD get it installed if you don't already) - make sure the field Force Nuke URL: is set to No.
Those are all the things that I can think of.
Good luck with 8.1! You are really brave to use that especially when Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! hasn't even released a set of security and bug fix patches yet for it! |
