Hi,
I am using WS Subscription module, but my problem is that after a customer has paid for their subscription I need them to be redirected from PayPal to a page where they will need to complete a form.....each subscription on my site has a different form so its not just about bringing the customer back to one fixed page. The WS Subscription module would just bring the customer back to the site rather than to a specific page, so I'm wondering if anyone knows if its possible to add some kind of code to WS Subscription so that I could set it up to bring the customer back to a page of my choice.

I hope this makes sense Smile

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Jane

There are a couple of ways. Assuming you are using Paypal IPN then in your Paypal code you can set different return urls for the different subscription scripts. The code to add would look something like this. The return variable will override the value in your IPB profile.

Subscription A - Must return to Form A
<input type="hidden" name="return" value="http://www.domain.com/forma.php" />

Subscription B - Must return to Form B
<input type="hidden" name="return" value="http://www.domain.com/formb.php" />

Another way is to use a custom variable and pass it back with your return url in your profile. Then that single script would check the custom variable and redirect to the needed form. Paypal actually provides you with 2 custom variables that the client never sees.

variable custom = Custom value as passed by you, the merchant. These are pass-through variables that are never presented to your customer. Length-max=255

variable invoice = Variable you can use to identify your Invoice Number for this purchase. If omitted, no variable is passed back. Must be unique per transaction. PayPal will prevent a payment if the value has been used previously. Length-max=127

Theses are the only ways that I know of.
