When the Nuke Sentinel block is engaged to show on the front page, it's not displaying any caught attempts ( We have caught 0 shameful hackers ) stays at 0..I'm receiving emails every day saying an attempt was blocked...
Why is it not registering to show in the Sentinel block ? |

In the block "edit", do you have the expiration set to 0 (zero) days which means it's active with no expiration. If you have it set for 1 day and "delete" then the counter will be reset each day back to zero I believe is correct.
Which version of Sentinel? Also, this should be posted in the "Security" forum I believe. |

Well the latest release of it embedded in RN 2.3. ( 2.6.01 )
This section of forums is marked ( 2.3 RN Issues ). I do believe this includes any and all issues that pertain to 2.3 RN. And if it isn't entering the alerts into the db, then it's an issue that needs to be addressed quickly.
I'll edit that and see if it corrects the current issue and post back |

Let me know if you can't figure it out. |

You may want to check the blocker setting in NS-> Blocker Configuration to make sure the blocking types mentioned in the email are actually set to block |

If the blocking type is not set correctly then why would the email say " ... blocked"?

'blocked' as in the attacked was blocked. Unless the message says 'permanently' blocked it is not stored in the DB or written to the htaccess file |

If it's fixed, let us know what fixed it. I assume that it was the "permanent" setting maybe?

Hopefully we're speaking of the same issue here. In the admin section click on Nuke Sentinel, then "Tracked IP Menu" and then "Display Tracked IP's". In the list, choose one that you want to "block", click on the orange shield and note the drop-down list next to "Expires In". It should say "Permanent" which is the default. Also explore the other settings, etc.
You can make changes per blocker type in "Blocker Configuration" for each blocker type which will then set your defaults for each type automatically and also when you manually block an IP.

Oh I got all that. No worries there.
All I want to do is have the NS block on the front site page show ALL types of blocks it does.....
Sorry, I'm lost when it comes to Sentinel... |

Well, it's been mentioned above that it "may" be the "permanent" setting that has gone awry, you need to look at the preferences I mentioned to see.

All of my blocked emails give no indication of any expiration type but the IP's are, in fact, in the DB table AND the htaccess.
