Nuke 7.4 is not sending activation emails. I have tested the email with mail.php. Topic reply notifications are being sent, submission notices are being sent. No activation emails, anyone got any idea on what to check next? |

I just registered at your site an got my activation email. Also, when I went to your home page I got 2 unwanted full screen browser sessions that popped up. That's annoying |

I know it's annoying. I wasn't happy when I made the decision to do it--but it's making $ for the site. Gotta pay the hosting and gotta donate to the site that gives me all my support. (I didn't say it was making alot-but it keeps the wolves from the door)
It's not my site, it's another that is having this issue.

It's 7.4, with Chat's patches preloaded. No mods other than dropping in Gallery and a theme. As I said, everything else is going through, including mail.php
I've only self tested, would you mind? |

Something is funky there....
My normal resolution is set to 1280 x 1024 and I still have 4" of right scrolling to see the right side blocks.
Did you check the mail and site settings regarding operating from a sub-directory? |

The answer to the site's problem is probably resolved here http://www.ravenphpscripts.com/faq-2-Nuke+.html-+Troubleshooting#7 |

If my answer is there, it's hiding from me. There is no activation email at all. I have checked preferences in admin, I have run the mail.php check. I have checked and rechecked to assure myself that notice to admin is on news submission is being sent and received. I have done the same with topic reply notification. I have tried to join with a different name in both IE and Firefox, trying to avoid any cookie issue. I have NOT tested PM notices, but will. I have not attempted to join using Netscape or the AOL browser because I won't have either of them on my machine.
Speaking of supporting your local support site..... |

Your friend need to make sure that in the Preferences that the site url reads http://rimrockpawn.com/nativethoughts
and in the Forum Admin the domain name reads rimrockpawn.com/nativethoughts |

I can't believe this. Someone please check my oil, because I am evidently a quart low. Everything had the right URL in config, but what I was not seeing was a trailing slash at the end in forum config.
Dul-weh!
Thank you Raven
Now where's that ring??? |
