I have had nothing but problems trying to get this to work,
I am running 7.4 and tables all installed correctly
I can see the cnbya admin control fine and access it and manipulate the stuff in there just fine -
I just can't register like I am a visitor trying to register

I delete all cookies and clear cache - come back to my site to register like anyone else would

after filling in info - I get confirm (finish page)
I click button and then all I get is this

_ERROR

I have been messing with this for 2 weeks tring to get it to work and I have about 6 hairs left on my head

I would be willing to pm my superuser login and password to the creators of this CNB YOUR ACCOUNT along with my PHPMyAdmin login and if need be and ftp login and password
No ONE can register on my site and I have travel agents that want to be able to login and create accounts so we can communicate etc.

Can someone please help -
I can usually figure out how anything I download for PHPNuke works and what it affects - but this one has got me stumped
and unfortunately I must admit - I am about to give up!

Well - I'll be......completely bald...lol

I got it to work!!!!!!!
It was a simple mistake in my config.php with $prefix = "xxxx"; &
$user_prefix = "xxxx";

Only one problem - I have the users config option set to NOT require email activation yet it handles like that option means nothing meaning it sends the email that tells them they must activate

But the account I created is - listed in admin CNB (edit users) as waiting user
and I guess I could if I wanted to, deny or approve etc.

What do you suppose is causing this?
why isnt that option (to not require email) working???

Run through the post http://www.ravenphpscripts.com/postt3629.html and see if you missed anything there. We're past due for 4.4.0 b3 or final with the holiday crunch over now we should get it out soon so folks don't have to continue to apply those changes.

The good news is we are almost done with the next version too. But it sounds like we'll keep 750 4.4.0 as a stable minimal version as the next version is about to explode with new features.

Thank you sixonetonoffun

-to be honest i am weary about upgrading from 7.4 to anything else for now so I really wanted to get this to work! - and with patience I did!
For now I do know that the email activation is working because I registered myself with an additional account last night

The other option that does not seem to work however is the allow users to select themes - I have it set to no but theoption still appears in Your_Account

Not really an issue though because I removed ALL but the custom default theme I have set in preferences so th drop down list of themes is 1 and none lol

Hmn I thought I fixed that in the post release fix files I uploaded in the known bugs thread. This is the 750 4.4.0 b2 version?

I'm glad you got it working now for the most part.
