Newsletter fails?

My newsletter runs does not work and after a few minutes goes to a "Page connot be displayed" page. The url is still admin.php

Any thoughts or do you think it is my hosts fault.

could be a lot of things....
maybe the list is to long....who knows...
but with this little bit of info nobody can say for sure...

Yeah, I am guessing you have alot of users that you are trying to send a newsletter to. There are php.ini settings which dictate a script's processing time (called a time-out). With shared hosts, it is typical for them to have this setting at 30 seconds to 2 minutes. This could only be good for a couple hundred emails or less.

Another thing I have been wondering about is if there could be a limitation on the number of emails allowed to be sent or some type of "flood setting". Never heard as such, but am wondering if there is something like that.

Are you on a shared hosting plan? Do you have control over your php.ini file? What about your mySQL configuration (there could be time-outs there to, but I don't think that would apply for this application). How many users are you trying to send a newsletter to?

thats what i was thinking thatit might be timing out, and i am on shared hosting.

yeah i have 3,000+ users, but that is not that many in comparison to some of the sites... like this one for example.

Ill will talk it over with my host.
