Hey raven sorry I could only give you 20 bucks, I wanted to give you more, but the wife was kicking me in the ass, you know how that goes...
PS. I kinda got in a fight tonight with my wife over this, but i won in the end. I'm a grown man of 33 years old, I served 12 years in the marine corps, (commander of the VFW post where I live)..been to combat twice (desert storm first war in 1991, and somilia in 1993-where i took sharp metal from a gernade thrown by a 13 year old, and was in a comma for 6 weeks, i had to learn my motor skills all over again, and also I had to learn how to walk again. I take the most pride in life,,hell Im just happy to be alive, when I wake up, I check my website first (of course) the Raven's, that has to tell you all something, raven is probably the most dedicated php nuke person I know. Guys Im a disabled VET at the age of 33, and a regular member at ravens, you all are wrong, if you go elsewhere for help. Raven-you got me, Im going to donate every month, even if you never help me. That is not the point, the point is, that Raven and his staff are pro's in what they do, and that should not be taking lightly. Im hoping a admin can make this thread sticky for a couple of days, cause I think everybody should know this... that is all for now.

Thank you for your donation and service to our country. This is a tough one to reply to
I have learned through 35 years of a fantastic marriage to my most wonderful soul-mate (Margie) that many times when a wife is sensitive in the finances (and other areas too), she is a voice worth listening to. My wife has always left the finances to me but I always consult with her on issues concerning same. My guiding motto is "When in doubt ----- don't". If we can't agree on issues that do not require split second decisions, then I lean towards a "wait-n-see (don't)" attitude
Please thank her and don't take chances. Meaning no disrespect, that grenade would be a blessing compared to the wrath of a wife who thinks a website is more important than her |

12 year USAF veteran myself 1982 -1995. Can't compare to what you went through. Spent my Desert Shield/Storm in 1991 at Eagle Town Dhahran SA living in a tent. Our nightly sprints to the bunker with our chem gear doesn't compare to a nade getting thrown at you.
I agree, Raven has put together an A1 operation here in Nuke support and development. His expansion to PortedMods will only enable the community to grow and prosper. |
