I apologize if this post is in the wrong thread bit I am new to Nuke and this site.

On my clubs previous website the previous webmaster had set up an email alias that pointed to two seperate email group lists that was we used as a link for members to email all in the club from one email.

There are abou t 40 to 50 email addresses in the club and I don't want to setup one mass email because of how some ISP's may consider it spam.

Is there a method in PHP Nuke 7.6 to recreate the alias we had before or something that can email to all the members from one link?

Thanks in advance!
Ken

hi there, only alias Ive ever heard of in nuke is the fake email that is displayed for other people to see over instead of the legitimate email. For obvious reasons. That is done in your profile, or though an admin panel (forums, or site) and editing users.

Without mass emailing, there are two options that can also be done. One of which you can have users sign up for subscriptions. Or you can create user groups (forums, or site) and send emails to groups. The groups are usually point defind in the site admin panel, but you can tweak that to anything and even assign users to a specific group, but they are rank associated in the forums admin panel, and you can add users that way without effecting their abilities in the forums.

This may not answer your question, but someone helped me with my question yesterday, and I try to give back in repayment.

Thanks for the reply, I think I might have to setup two mass email address and just post those for the users to use so I don't get nailed by ISP's as spam.
