sentinel not banning IP's

Morning all,

I have managed to get sentinel isntalled on nuke 7.6 after much messing about.

Problem i seem to have is that when anyone "tests" the security it blocks the access, which is great, but then they can still enter the site, it doesnt ban the IP address.

Anyone know an antidote for this?

and by reading other posts, i have been through the blocker configuration and changed all settings to:

email Admin

(no .htaccess or .staccess files on the server, i aint put them on)

forward to: left blank
IP block type : full IP
default page: relevant to attack type
email lookup: DNSSTUFF.com
reason: default
block duration: permenant

still doesnt work Sad
