I am in the process of re-creating the indnet site in 7.9 (yeah yeah I know) and I am curious if my old nukestyles 2.1 script would work without too much fuss. I have been away from nuke for a while and havent kept up much with the distros since 7.5. Thanks in advance and good to be back |

Not sure if the administration changes in 7.9 would conflict with 2.1. |

That was officially the fastest reply I have ever recieved, lol.
i agree the admin changes may cause some grief. I'll try it tonight and if I have to, change the paths in the admin files. |

There may be some other structural changes that cause pain, too. Let us know what you find in case someone else is interested in a similar effort. |

I installed Enhanced Downloads 2.1 in Nuke 7.9 and now I am having problems accessing the downloads admin. I get an "Access Denied" message. So is there any way to fix it? |

I got it working on my test site and updated it to the new admin locations within the module proper. It required a fair bit of hacking to get it to work. Your problem is likely admin.php check in the header of the file.s has changed If you are insterested I can zip up the files and post them. |

Yeah, it would be great if you upload the files.
I myself tried to edit the module files. But I can't get it to work. |

Here is my first hack job. It works but I haven't properly reviewed it or cleaned up the directories.
From the added readme:
Quote: | I in no way intend to violate the copyright of the original Nukestyles script.
I purchased this script when it was released and have used it ever since.
The nukestyles.com website is no longer operational so I have no way to contact Shawn.
This is an excellent script and I do not want to see it fade away and be forgotten.
This modification is only to get it to work with the new features of php-Nuke 7.7+ and above.
I do not imply any support or warranty of any kind and my modifications are extemely messy and may not even all work.
If you can do better, please do and then email me a copy, hehe.

I need to add that I always use Autotheme-Lite so there are some color hacks in the code to get the font color to display properly in the admin screens. If I find them, I'll comment it here. |

I noticed today the admin language files are still a little messed up. I'll fix them when I have a chance unless someone beats me to it . I switched my main site to 7.9 with EDL installed and uploaded all the downloads again. |
