Hi,
Does Sentinel protect against Guest Flood EG it give 1 member online and about 1000 guests on my site. I think its a proxy flood? I enable proxy block and nothing happens. |

NukeSentinel(tm) tries to help, but a severe dDos attack can't be stopped at that level. It has to be stopped at the server level. If you haven't already, in the NS ACP, make sure that the block proxy level is set at high and the dos protection is turned on. |

Have your host try to block it from the server/firewall. If you don't already have mod_security installed, get it installed ASAP. And also a product called APF is invaluable, imo, http://www.theserverpages.com/20102/11/ |

Your host has to install those, not you. |

y0y0, the problem is that if you try to block at the site level, the server still gets hit and the effect is basically the same. However, have you made sure that block proxy level is set at high and the dos protection is turned on in NukeSentinel(TM)? |

Well, you posted this in the NukeSentinel(TM) forum which only works with phpnuke. I will move the thread. |
