Checking Sentinel Is Working.../What does this mean?

Hi, how can i check that my Sentinel installation is working correctly without permanently banning myself, i do have a static IP address.

I would also like to know this, in Sentinel Administration/Configuration i see
ADMIN Blocker Settings
AUTHOR Blocker Settings
CLIKE Blocker Settings
UNION Blocker Settings
Filters Blocker Settings
Harvester Blocker Settings
Referer Blocker Settings
Scripting Blocker Settings
Request Method Blocker Settings
String Blocker Settings

I click on them and there is a dropdown menu which says Activate, do i have to activate these for them to start working or does this mean something else?

Yes, you have to activate this. You can found more about this in the Sentinel FAQ.First read this !! The problem ist the static ip. I was often bannend, when I ´m logout. But that`s no problem with a dynamic IP. I´ve got a lot e-mails.
So you have only the tables in the data base to delete your static IP, if you are banned. Think so.

There are different ways to check sentinel.

So sentinel works fine.

Delete your url.

I thought to myself "Is this a new game - checking Sentinel Blocker". But it isn`t a game and I´m no script-kiddy, I only know how the feel sometimes. Wink
