Hello all,

I searched the website and found posts about similar issues but none that fixed my problem. I am using RavenNuke7.6v2.2.2

Here is my issue.... When using Firefox (my default browser) and going to the admin panel, many of the admin icons are missing. The link is still there but not the image. This does NOT happen when using Netscape or Opera. All icons are visible when using Netscape or Opera. It does happen with IE but a different set of icons are missing (go figure).

I have:
:Cleared the cache, cookies and anything else that I can clear in Firefox. Restarted Firefox but problem persists.

:Same goes for IE and no results there either.

:Made sure that the image files are all there in the nuke directories

any other ideas???
any help appreciated... thanks

Very strange. I have no problem seeing the admin icons in RN with either FF or IE. Do you have ad blocking add-ons that might be blocking this?

Yes it is very strange. No, I don't have any ad blocking add-ons. I have 5 icons that show up (in FF) in the "administration menu" section and all the rest are just a text link and the tittle. The only thing that I can think of that has changed is that I updated to the latest version of FF. Wonder if that could be it? Think I will search for the older install and try that?

Here's some extra info: I noticed by looking at the properties for the text link that FF thinks that the image file is ZERO bytes. The ones that are visiable do NOT show up as Zero bytes.

I have checked and there are no zero byte files in the images/admin section

Problem Solved: Don't understand why but I copied all the images/admin files from my local drive to my web server and it fixed the problem. All icons are now visible in FF again. I guess I don't mind that it was an easy fix, but I would like to know why that fixed the problem and what made it happen in the first place?

anyone have any ideas?

thanks

Maybe an FTP problem. I've seen some FTP clients create zero byte files. But they wouldn't display in any browser unless they were cached.
