Has anyone else noticed that all users have a status of offline, even when loged on. This is happening to one of my sites. All functions are available, but the User Info block doesn't show how many people are online.

Dang your good with the referances Smile I actually read that ... but I have several nuke site on the same server and only some of them does it. Granted only the very active sites have this problem and the ones that only get 3 or 4 hits a month work just fine Smile

Honey, I'm good with other things too Laughing - So this is a *nix server and NOT IIS? That's usually a sign that cookies are not enabled on the client machine. Have you deleted all cookies and cleared the cache? Can you post a link?

Ok I know you told me to use Text Pad instead of Note Pad ... and I did at home (honest!)

All the sites I've edited little things at work, using notepad, are the ones with problems.

So what exactly does notepad do to the code that text pad doesn't?

I'm just grasping for straws here ... probably has nothing to do with the problem at hand ... but would like to know Smile

No, it would not be affecting that. Nutpad and Turdpad (as well as Reammaker) like to add blank lins after the closing ?> tag. This is usually not an issue except when you are sending that content to the browser. Once the browser sees a blank line it says "all headers are sent" . Once it sees that, any attempts to send http header commands give the browser a migraine.
