2 problems with fresh install

fresh installl of 7.5
linux server
ftp upload

installed it login as admin ok

all the links in mod admin are also in the admin menu

2nd when i click on one of the modules to admin them I can change delete all that but i get an access denied in the upper left hand corner
of the page above and to the left of the logo

I followed the install instructions to the letter.

ok i fixed the 2nd problem a couplde files didnt ftp in ACSII that took care of the access denied deal but i still dont know why i get duplicate links in the admin menu and mod admin

scratch that still getting the access denied but only when i click on certain mods in the admin menu not all of them do it

You have files that shouldn't be there, the admin case, links and modules folders should not have files for Downloads, Links, Reviews, Users etc. to find out which download Nuke 7.4 and compare the admin folders, any file found in 7.4 but not on 7.5 should not be on your server.

ok cool thanks Got an idea on the access denied int the upperleft corner above the logo when i click on something in the admin menu but not on others

same reason, once you get rid of the duplicate files they'll vanish.

oh yea i dont know if any one has edited a distribution copy of the languages and one llink on the anagram theme.php thers a link wrong in it the content links goes to content but in a different language ta=ranslation error i guess but i got fixed files for them if no one else has already done it where can i send them?
