Have you ever felt yourself insecure when performing *blind-folded* IP Bans due to performed quick risk analysis? To ban or not to ban a certain IP Range? We'll, you should not feel that insecure anymore - there are ~55k lines more of IP Ranges from now on backing you up with your decision making process.

This straightforward LookUp utility, Easy IP Ban Reference, is constructed in an attempt to boost up webserver root's / site admin's ability to succesfully manage the issued IP Bans/Blocks with enhanced precission based on used reference - either in form of anticipated protective bans being targetted for certain regions, sub-regions, countries - or as focused IP Bans targetted for certain hostile IP Ranges only.

The *script set* input consists of (1) external compound only - *ip-to-country.csv* file (used by various apps/instances) which is being dumped into a predefined location for *script set* driven processing purposes.

The downloadable package is equipped with following content:

* README-INSTALL.html
* ec-ipbr-ready.zip (*ready-made end-product*)
* ec-ipbr.tar.gz (*script set* providing the *ready-made end-product* - for yours to manage and make the future updates)

Devshed: Backing Up and Restoring Your MySQL Database More about

Vinu Thomas writes: Do you need to change your web host or switch your database server? This is probably the only time when you really think of backing up your MySQL data. If you've got a website with a database or your custom database running for your applications, it is imperative that you make regular backups of the database. In this article, I will outline two easy ways of backing up and restoring databases in MySQL. The easiest way to backup your database would be to telnet to the your database server machine and use the mysqldump command to dump your whole database to a backup file. If you do not have telnet or shell access to your server, don't worry about it; I shall outline a method of doing so using the PHPMyAdmin web interface, which you can setup on any web server which executes PHP scripts.

Hello Nukers,

I have glued the famous rdf.php for phpBB and backendforums.php of nukecops together to create an RSS newsfeed of any combination of PHP-Nuke Forums on a site. Upload the rdf-nuke.php file to your PHP-Nuke root directory and enjoy the all-round syndication of any and all forums on your site in any combination and variation: from one single forum to three in a bundle - you define how long should be the description of the latest posts syndicated, the number of news items, and can even specify that the forum name or post date be included in the title of each news item! Read on for a detailed description... Read More...
