Im current running Nuke 7.7 with sentinel 2.41b installed however im a little lost regarding the Admin Auth: settings

By running phpinfo script i believe that I have 'php compiled as a GCI'

and the only option I have available in this setting is CGI Auth which i believe works with .stacess and that I do not require .htaccess

Is it acceptable to only have this option available to me or is something wrong ?

Under the .staccess section where I enter the location of this file, it has a text link called CGIAuth Setup when I click this the following text appears :-

Quote:
Save this in :

# -------------------------------------------
# Start of NukeSentinel(tm) admin.php Auth
# -------------------------------------------
<Files .staccess>
deny from all
</Files>

<Files admin.php>
<Limit GET POST PUT>
require valid-user
</Limit>
AuthName "Restricted by NukeSentinel(tm)"
AuthType Basic
AuthUserFile .staccess
</Files>
# -------------------------------------------
# End of NukeSentinel(tm) admin.php Auth
# -------------------------------------------

However it never tells me where I should put this information, does the file need creating?, do I edit another file? and where the location is

Are there anything else I need to consider that you could make me aare of ?

Thanks for your help

You need both files. That information goes in .htaccess. .staccess is where the username and encoded password goes.
