Gallery suggestions

I'm looking for a gallery module to install into a site I'm working on for an artist. I tried gallery2 and am having installation issues. I already posted on their site for a fix but I am not hopeful so I'm looking for an alternative. I'd like something that is highly customizable in appearance and functionality. I don't it looking like a typical module I'd like to to visually tie into the rest of the site. How customizable is Coppermine?

G2 is a pretty easy Gallery to work with. What kind of problems are you having? Before you reply....Please include what version of Nuke.

I kind of both agree with and disagree with Dawg. G2 is a huge and complex product with all kinds of bells and whistles. The do have an excellent installation program but you have to realize that installing it and maintaining it is (IMHO) just as complex as running an entire Ravennuke site, if not more so. And how well it works is highly server dependent. Raven switched to phpsuexec on his servers last year for instance and file permission problems I would periodically have across a couple of different servers went away for good. But in other circumstances you can run into situations where permissions get screwed up and you need the server folks to fix them. You also need to run the integration package to link it into Ravennuke (or any Nuke).

That said, I have well over 1000 pictures on my bike club site. One great thing is that you can give ownership over an album to trusted users and they can in turn create all the sub-albums they want and stock them up with photos to their heart's content and you rarely need to be involved. When I look at IP tracking on my site I see that Gallery is where a lot of people look so it is popular. Just don't underestimate the need to administer it.

.... and if not configured for security correctly, it is a huge hole for the script kiddies.
