Hello,

I'm trying to make my site theme so it makes my site look like its not a phpnuke site. However i'm noticing more and more sites looking the same. I've only came across two sites that looked nothing like a nuke site, they looked like normal php sites. One was made with postnuke, and one was made with myphpnuke.

However I've been to several sites of people with mass knowledge of phpnuke, but i think to myself.. if they know so much why don't they modify their site so it looks original and not like a nuke site. Is this not possible with phpnuke? Should i consider using another nuke fork, and if so.. which one?

I'm also interested in any links anyone might know, of sites which use phpnuke but look nothing like it, as well as any secure/reliable module resource sites for phpnuke 7.3.

Thank you in advance for all comments, advice, and replies as they are all appreciated.

Anything is possible looks wise. Can you be more specific?
You could get rid of 1 side of blocks or both sides, and just have navigation in your header, you could stick to center blocks and such. I think my site looks pretty unique: http://www.ganjauk.com but I choose to keep the blocks as they are in other nuke sites.

Thanks for both replies, gave me more confidence in the way phpnuke can be customized. Gangja, you got a really nice site...if mine ends up looking as good as yours i'll reply to this post with it lol.. if i don't post back here, it means i still got alot of work to do lol.

I will get to work on my customized theme.

Thanks to everyone, and any advice, comments, suggestions, are still welcomed.

P.S.
Ganja,
i know most webmasters don't like reveiling their secrets, but i was curious if you can point me in the right direction to achieve the effect you created when you rightclick, and hover over certain links.

Do a search on google for: "right click menu" "java" And also "DHTML" for all those type of effects.
It's not hard at all to intergrate these things in to nuke once you learn your way around it. Most .js file links will go in: my_header.php
