I already have database from an old site. I am going to install a fresh version of nuke. I want to keep members and forum entries. that is all. What tables from the old db should I NOT empty? In other words what tables do I want to keep?

off the top of my head... authors (unless you want to make that new), anything with bb in front of it (that's all the forum tables) and of course the users table. Might want to optionally retain Sentinel tables (nsnst_{all} tables), groups and groups_points if your users have accrued points and you use that feature. That's about it...
