Anyway to stop log files being generated on my host server?

Hi all, I run phpnuke 7.6 and I am getting a lot of log files generated on my server from phpnuke, thing is I have no cpanel to delete them and I dont have permissions in ftp on these files. is there anything I can do in phpnuke to help stop these files getting to big? at the moment I am ringing the hosts every few days to get them manually deleted.

No. Your host has the ability to stop them or to adjust the severity of when the log gets written. Most hosts opt to save everything in the event an audit needs to be done. You could ask them to only record errors and not warnings.
