I am running 7.6 with Chatserv's 30b patch on one of my websites (an apache server host) and before installing NukeSentinel, I added a second "author" to my Admin's configuration and for the life of me, I am unable to get past the log-in page (just keeps coming back with the blank log-in screen). Sad

This has been working fine on my other website (different host).

So,after installing NukeSentinel (with both author's account protected), it still responds the same way. I am bringing in the NukeSentinel issue, not because of any problem with it, but as additional information. NukeSentinel accepts the "protected" author's log-n information, it is that PHP-Nuke is NOT allowing me to log-is with another Author's name.

Where do I start with correcting or making this work?

Any suggestions/guidance would be GREATLY appreciated ...

Try comparing the admin.php files on both sites. Also, search here for "blank page" or "blank admin page," especially if you added the patch manually. It's very easy to missing something when patching that could cause something like this - it's happened frequently, as you'll see when you search...

Well, they are the same (same patch, etc) Confused

I don't get the "often reported" blank admin page, it just loops back to the admin log-in, if I use my GOD account I am able to access the control panel, without any problem (during all this).

There has to be something within my Author's field in MySQL that conflicts and won't allow me access. I have searched through it and can't find anything wrong, the information is there and my second account shows as an aid=2 (which is author's id).

Oh well, it is NO "biggie", I will just use my GOD account and be happy with that, all else works fine. Wink

Thanks for the feedback...

Sorry - I saw the "blank" and stopped before "login screen".

It might be a browser thing - if you're using different users to log into the same site, you might want to delete your cookies and your browser's cache in between admin logins.

You might also compare the mainfile.php on both sites.

I have of course thought the same thing...

I have experienced that with the ADMIN log-in before, and that is actually what I have tried, also.

This however does not clear the problem... I also would like to say, that during this trying to access my second author's account, that I have no problem just entering my GOD accound info and get immediate access.

This is so weird Confused
