I installed nuCalendar today and it seems to be working fine...BUT...in my site admin panel...when I click on the NUCALENDER icon, the administration area gives me these 2 messages:
Table 'ssadmin_snsnuke.nuke_nucal_bydate' doesn't exist
Table 'ssadmin_snsnuke.nuke_nucal_recurring' doesn't exist
I installed the sql file but these 2 table are not listed.
The only tables that are showing up in the database is:
nuke_nucal_categories
nuke_nucal_events
nuke_nucal_options
One more thing. In the install instructions, it mentioned merging the mainfile.php. It also mentioned mergine language.php files. I wasn't sure how to do that. I didn't want to mess up my mainfile. As I mentioned earlier, the calendar seems to work but I'm not sure if this will catch up with me.
Do I need to merge these files & if so, how do you do that?
Thanks! |

Sounds like you have a messed up version of NuCalendar, or something was missed during installation.
The mainfile changes are probably so that you can see waiting calendar events. In newer versions of Nuke, that function is moved to a block anyway.
The language files might cause text to appear like _MISSING_TEXT instead of Missing Text. Generally, the language stuff is simply added to the end of the appropriate lang-xxx.php file (see the instructions) before the closing ?> You can edit ("merge" the files with a good (good means NOT notepad, wordpad) editor (e.g. Crimson Editor, PS-Pad, etc.). |

Not likely. NuCalendar wasn't developed by the developer of PHP-Nuke. |

Most should work - the only issue is why the tables weren't created. I'll see if I can find the SQL to create those tables. |

OK. We're back to the original question: where did you get this download?
The nuke_nucal_bydate and nuke_nucal_recurring tables were used in really old versions of NuCalendar like .10 to .50. The latest version is something like .62 or higher. |

I'd suggest getting .61 from the source: http://bootsware.com You may have some issues making it work with the latest patch or with a higher version than 7.4 of phpNuke.
I found a few modded versions that claim to work with 7.5 and higher, but not sure. They don't appear to have the admin structure, so it's not clear they will work. |

Those tables shouldn't be in the latest version. Somehow, you got SQL for the current tables, but the old script.
You should be able to run it with RavenNuke. |

Remove the tables and scripts for NuCalendar, then reinstall it using the most current download from the author. |

Without doing anything, the calendar, although displaying that it is missing the two tables is working perfectly? lol, Wish it didnt show that the two tables were missing though! |
